People first
By adopting user-centred design, OPI PIB develops and examines technological solutions that cater to users’ needs and preferences. While technology is integral to that work, our ultimate priority is people.

What we do
We explore users’ experiences to better understand their motivations, habits, emotions and attitudes. By conducting surveys, we identify areas for future research and product development. We verify the effectiveness of our concepts.
In this way, we deliver engaging and effective technology solutions.
Who we are
We are an interdisciplinary team of experts that specialises in:
- psychology
- sociology
- neuropsychology
- data analysis
- machine learning
- programming
- IT system usability
- virtual reality
What we work on
- We participate in major research programmes in Poland and internationally. Through our engagement in such projects, we have proved our effectiveness in collaborating with global partners and the importance of our role in the development of human-computer interaction.
- We conduct IT system usability testing. The products and solutions we promote are engineered to be technically robust and to meet users’ expectations.
We apply the following technologies:
Our projects
SAGACITY
Intelligent homes without barriers
A system that aids individuals with physical limitations in achieving greater independence.
Ebalance-plus
A platform that improves energy management and increases the resilience of the power grid.

Acting Head of the Laboratory of Interactive Technologies
I am a psychologist and researcher specialising in human–technology interaction, with a particular focus on cognitive processes, user experience, and the wellbeing of technology users. At OPI PIB, I serve as Head of the Laboratory of Interactive Technologies, where experts in psychology, computer science, sociology, and interaction design conduct interdisciplinary research on immersive technologies (VR), digital education, remote work, and the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence. Our projects include motion data analysis through machine learning, motivation for physical activity in virtual environments, and the digital implementation of mindfulness practices.
Our Laboratory integrates a research-oriented approach and practical application, aiming to deliver reliable knowledge, examine the social impact of technology, and promote responsible digital solutions for everyday operations.
