The GENDERACTIONplus2027 (Gender Equality Network to Develop ERA Communities To activate Inclusive policy coordinatiON with Practical Learning for Uptake and Sustainability 2027)project expands and reinforces the transnational network of national authorities and research funding organisations established as part of previous GENDERACTION and GENDERACTIONplus initiatives.

Specific objectives include strengthening networking and policy coordination through the consolidation and expansion of the transnational network; developing competencies in designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating inclusive and intersectional gender equality policies; developing tools to enhance gender equality and its integration into research and innovation; monitoring progress; and enabling implementation of long-lasting results.

As the leader of one of the work packages, OPI PIB is responsible for the analytical review of data collected by the European Commission, the preparation and conduct of three monitoring cycles, the analysis and interpretation of monitoring data, translating findings into knowledge and policy support, and the visualisation and presentation of the results with the use of the Project Data Dashboard. These activities are designed to deliver scientific evidence and data that help Member States and funding organisations implement and coordinate gender equality policies within the ERA more effectively.

The project is implemented as part of the Horizon Europe programme.
