National Information Processing Institute is a partner of the project – Network4Growth. The project tackles moderate innovation performance, poor internationalisation of R&D and lack of knowledge sharing and cross-border cooperation in technology transfer in the Visegrad Group (Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary) and Armenia and Georgia. It aims to strengthen collaboration and exchange of experience through network of professionals, series of events and an online innovation map. International network of professionals will bring together perspectives from academia, business and state administration. The events and innovation map will showcase scientific excellence and innovation ecosystems of all 6 countries involved.
A series of online events will highlight scientific excellence, best practices in R&D and technology transfer and share success stories of local innovation ecosystems in each of the 6 countries involved in the project.
General goal of the events is to encourage internationalisation of technology transfer through knowledge sharing across region, better understanding of local context and of available resources.
At each event 3 experts coming from different fields will share their perspective (e.g. from business, academia, government) and introduce R&D landscape and innovation potential of their respective country.
The events will focus following topics: excellent research infrastructure, R&D and innovation centres, state incentives for technology transfer, innovation and start-up ecosystem, success stories of academia-private sector partnerships, best practice examples of local development based on innovations and entrepreneurial spirit.
The first webinar will be organized on the 18th of January at 3 p.m. The key topics – technology transfer and innovations in Poland. The best practices in the area of science and higher education will be presented by Aldona Tomczyńska Phd, Data Science Team Leader and Jacek Raczko, Reporting and Analyzing Team Leader at the Laboratory of Databases and Business Analytics.
