Smart Growth
The Smart Growth Operational Programme is a national operational programme for financing research, development and innovation. Its aim is to enhance innovation in the Polish economy by increasing investment in research and development conducted by businesses.
The Purpose of Measure 4.2
is to support selected projects of a large, strategic research infrastructure, in accordance with the Polish Road Map of Research Infrastructure, both nationally and internationally, and to ensure effective access to this infrastructure for business owners and other interested parties.
The inauguration of Measure 4.2
took place on 30th June, 2015 at the Institute of Industrial Design in Warsaw during the Investment in Science – Investment in the Economy conference. Under the scheme, scientific institutions can receive over 800 million PLN for the construction or development of unique research infrastructure.
The National Information Processing Institute
is one of the institutions implementing priority axis 4, ‘Increasing scientific and research potential’ under Measure 4.2, ‘Development of modern research infrastructure of the science sector’.
The beneficiaries of the scheme
are: scientific units, consortia of scientific units, universities, consortia of universities, consortia of scientific units and enterprises, consortia of universities (including special purpose entities of universities) and enterprises.
