As part of the non-competitive project Support for didactic processes through NAVOICA, implemented by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the National Information Processing Institute (OPI PIB) is preparing a course requirement description and developing e-learning courses to be published on the NAVOICA platform for which a subsidy of PLN 5,865,600.00 has been granted.

Predicted tasks

A minimum of 150 new massive open online courses (MOOCs) will be developed and made available on NAVOICA, with content primarily focused on green and digital transformation. The courses will be prepared by higher education institutions in collaboration with employers, partners from the socio-economic sector, and e-learning methodology experts.

The project’s key components are the organisation and execution of a call for course proposals, the preparation of substantive e-learning content by universities, and the publication of the courses on NAVOICA by OPI PIB.

Target groups

The project is intended for HEIs that are not subject to liquidation and that, at the time of submitting their proposals, have been positively evaluated by the Polish Accreditation Committee in terms of the teaching quality of the study programmes to which the proposed courses pertain. The group of support beneficiaries will also include students and all adult participants who express interest in the courses.

Objective

The project seeks to adapt the educational offerings of HEIs to the requirements of economic development and green and digital transformation by delivering MOOCs via NAVOICA for integration in first-cycle, second-cycle, and long-cycle programmes.

Outcomes

The project will deliver MOOCs via NAVOICA platform.
