OPI has begun collaborating with VIVE Textile Recycling Sp. z o.o., a leader in the textile waste processing industry in Poland and a major player in Europe.
OPI and VIVE are conducting R&D works jointly as part of the Development of an Innovative Process of Footwear Identification that Utilizes Modern Machine Learning Methods project to create innovative technologies and engineering solutions.
Higher efficiency of footwear pairing will be ensured by cutting-edge machine learning methods and advanced self-learning algorithms. The ultimate goal of the project is to implement the jointly developed solutions, which will reduce the costs of footwear pairing and appraisal considerably.
