Erasmus+

The Erasmus+ programme is an innovative initiative of the European Union that supports education, training, youth engagement, and sports. In the 2021–2027 financial framework, Erasmus+ has evolved to be more inclusive, digital, and attuned to emerging challenges, paving the way for the European Education Area by 2025.

Following a decision of the European Commission, the National Information Processing Institute (OPI) has been awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), which enables the institute to implement essential programme activities. The ECHE confirms OPI’s commitment to achieving the highest standards in the Erasmus+ programme.

The award of the ECHE is a prerequisite for all higher education institutions in participating countries for engagement in educational mobility projects, and in initiatives that promote innovation and the sharing of best practices.

Erasmus+ participants can:

  • Take part in educational mobility projects that facilitate international exchanges, offering opportunities to gain experience and build global relations
  • Co-develop innovative solutions in education and research that influence the future of science and social progress
  • Engage in initiatives that promote the exchange of best practices and collaboration at the European level

Detailed information on exchange opportunities will be published on the OPI website after the competition results are announced in the summer of 2025.
