      Immersing oneself in cultural heritage can inspire a fresh perspective, which facilitates personal growth, resilience, empathy, and self-reliance in moments of adversity. Partnering with 14 scientific institutions from 10 countries, OPI PIB will explore how cognitive and emotional cultural heritage influences citizens’ awareness, resilience, and self-confidence. Researchers will develop a new approach to cultural communication and create technological tools to support those processes. Research experiments will be conducted at three European museums: the Archaeology Museum of Catalonia in Barcelona, Mus\u00e9oParc Al\u00e9sia, and the Egyptian Museum in Turin.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The project is scheduled to begin in October 2024 and will unfold over a three-year period. The project is funded by Horizon Europe<\/em> \u2013 an EU framework prorgamme for research and innovation. The project is led by Politecnico di Torino. OPI PIB\u2019s budget has been set to EUR 147,500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The tasks assigned to OPI PIB will be executed by the Laboratory of Interactive Technologies. They will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • collaboration with project partners regarding the preparation of theoretical frameworks for research<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • development of research tools that facilitate the successful completion of project targets<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • analysis and interpretation of collected data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
